JULIE BROWN RECEIVES ENDORSEMENT OF TAMPA FIREFIGHTERS LOCAL 754

Tampa, FL - Julie Brown, candidate for Tampa City Council, District 4 was honored today to receive the endorsement of the Tampa Firefighters Local 754.

This announcement from the Tampa Firefighters, who now join the West Central Florida Police Benevolent Association in supporting Julie Brown, shows the confidence they have that Julie Brown will be a voice for our first responders on Tampa City Council.

Brown commented "I am so honored that Tampa Firefighters, representing such a large group of emergency personnel, has chosen to support me in my campaign for Tampa City Council. I find it most reassuring that the Firefighters and the Police have both expressed their confidence in me, particularly in light of the fact that my opponent recently served as Vice Chair of the Public Safety Committee. This certainly adds much more to the support the Firefighters and Police are expressing for my campaign. I will work diligently to see that our emergency personnel are adequately funded to provide a safe and secure environment for our families."

Brown, a first time candidate for Council was a former Assistant City Attorney and is a strong advocate for public safety and neighborhoods. Brown is pleased to add the Tampa Firefighters Local 754 to a growing list of endorsements including a large group of neighborhood leaders, the West Central Florida Police Benevolent Association and the Tampa Bay Builders Association.
