Assistant City Attorney

Real estate attorney for the City of Tampa, with a focus on complex development agreements. Specialties include real estate, contract, administrative and regulatory law. Responsibilities include drafting legislation, negotiating agreements and disputes, and advising City Council members and staff about a variety of legal issues. Legal advisor to the City of Tampa for the downtown Riverwalk development and Tampa Museum of Art development agreement. Also legal advisor to the stormwater, land development coordination (subdivisions and Community Development Districts), wastewater, cultural arts and public arts, neighborhood and community affairs, convention center and minority business development departments.

• Head of the franchise sales team for the Company;

• Responsible for negotiating multi-million dollar franchise sales opportunities;

• Reviewed and analyzed real estate site packages for prospective and current franchisees;

• Developed the infrastructure and programming for the Franchise Department;

• Participated in the modification of the annual Uniform Offering Circular;

Represented both buyer and seller in M&A matters.
